Charlotte Holmes, the newly crowned Miss England 2012 is in Mauritius for promoting the Mauritius Shopping Fiesta and the Flic en Flac Carnival. The 5ft 9in brunette was crowned on Tuesday night.
Charlotte Holmes missed out on a place in the final three of the reality TV model search but beat 59 other finalists to the Miss England title on Tuesday night. A Britain’s Next Top Model reject has bounced back to beat 59 other finalists to be crowned Miss England.
Charlotte Holmes, 23, faced tough competition from rivals across the UK and other finalists included 23-year-old police officer Alice Nicholas and 21-year-old GB kickboxer Chelsie Griffin.

But Charlotte, who missed out on a place in the final three of the reality TV model search in 2010, was crowned this year's winner. Charlotte, who took part in the contest as Miss Devon, dressed in a sequinned blue gown, cried as she was presented with her trophy and Miss England sash.
Runners-up Anastacia Smith, Miss North Yorkshire, and third place Tamzin Cummings, Miss Sunderland, joined Charlotte on stage at the ceremony at the Athena in Leicester.
The beauty queen, who is originally from Plymouth but lives in Devon, came fourth in reality TV show Britain's Next Top Model in 2010.

Following her win, she said: "I am so happy to have won the crown and my ambition is to give young girls the message they can achieve."
Charlotte Holmes will enjoy a host of freebies including a trip to Mauritius, where she will promote the Mauritius Shopping Fiesta and participates in the Flic en Flac Carnival before going to represent England at the Miss World final in August.
