After being elected Best Stand at the FITUR 2010 in January, the MTPA, represented by Gustavo Vaca of MTPA Spain, received the award at a ceremony held on the 15th of June. Mr. Vaca received the award, on behalf of the MTPA, from the President of the prestigious AEDAVE (The Association of Spanish Travel Agencies), José Manuel Maciñeiras.

The jury described the stand as an excellent combination of geometry, graphics and chromatic, where the elegance of the destination was present in all architectural lines.  The optimization of the space and light was also very significant to make the jury´s decision.
The stand successfully projected the high-end image and the positioning of the destination. The other two destinations awarded were Thailand and Switzerland.

Mauritius will continue to develop PR and advertising activities in the Spanish market as well as continue participating in FITUR 2011, one of the most important international tourism fairs in the world.
